Factory programming provides standard left and right mouse click actions, including a double click on the middle pedal. New controller-less programming allows you to quickly and easily reprogram the pedal to perform keyboard actions and productivity-enhancing macros.

Create your own pedal app. You can reprogram every pedal action using the SE2 SmartSet app without installation or by directly editing the simple text configuration files stored on the pedals. Create text macros, custom key sequences or combinations for any software application that recognizes mouse shortcuts and keyboard shortcuts/inputs.

The SmartSet app is an easy-to-use graphical user interface for programming the Savant Elite2 (SE2) pedal. Windows and Mac versions of the app are pre-installed in the pedals' flash memory for easy access, and all assigned actions are stored in the pedal so the pedal can be moved from computer to computer without reprogramming.

ABS, or Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene, is a relatively new, extremely strong and tough plastic with high resistance to pressure shocks even at low temperatures, crack propagation and abrasion resistance. Furthermore, this material resists atmospheric influences, UV radiation and has a high attenuation coefficient (sound dampening). A big advantage is its extremely low thermal conductivity, so insulation is not necessary, which predetermines this material for use in cold and air-conditioned spaces. The proportions can vary from 15 to 35% of acrylonitrile, 5 to 30% of butadiene and 40 to 60% of styrene by weight.
