The balanced tilt system without additional mechanisms automatically provides the right body support throughout the entire tilt range. During reclining, the open angle between the torso and lower limbs remains open for better body movement. Thanks to the extreme mobility, the backrest automatically responds to changing spinal needs during reclining. The three-panel rigid weave design creates contours exactly to the body, and also automatically adjusts for optimal spinal support. The rigid woven seat automatically adapts to the contours of the body, settling in the flexible, breathable weave. The frameless front edge eliminates pressure on the thighs. The piston fits 95% of the population within the adjustment range.

The Humanscale chair model Diffrient World is in this specification: with double-jointed automatic backrest, frame and cross in white, standard solid duron armrests, seat in Lotus 128 upholstery, lumbar support in Monofilament Stripe 14 Platinum upholstery, high piston with a circle for footrest which is supplemented with glides. The upholstery fabric is antibacterial/antimicrobial and is water-resistant, code W16WM14K128WG.
